Best Coast have confirmed the full details of their second studio album.
‘The Only Place‘, the follow up to 2010 debut ‘Crazy For You‘, was produced by Rufus Wainwright and Kanye West cohort Jon Brion, and is to comprise 11 new tracks, of which ‘Up All Night‘, ‘How They Want Me to Be‘ and ‘Dreaming My Life Away‘ have been previously released. It will hit the shelves in the UK on May 14th, with the US release following a day later.
In support of the new album, Best Coast will head out on a UK tour later this year, beginning at Glasgow’s ABC 2 on June 16th. Dates at the Manchester HMV Ritz (17th), Birmingham Academy (18th) and Shepherd’s Bush Empire (20th) are also due, with a final date arriving on June 21st at the Brighton Coalition.
