The Killers Stick To The Hits During Hard Rock Calling Gig

The Killers stuck to the classics during their Hard Rock Calling headline performance last night (June 24th), as the reports of new material being debuted during the show proved unfounded.

There was also no individual spots from each member, something else which had been mooted thanks to the launch of solo careers by frontman Brandon Flowers and drummer Ronnie Vannucci since The Killers took a short hiatus at the beginning of 2010.

Instead, the Las Vegas band opened with ‘Hot Fuss‘ favourite ‘Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll‘, and went on to run through a set packed with their biggest hits, closing with 2006 single ‘When You Were Young‘.

Bon Jovi are due to headline the Hyde Park event tonight, with Rod Stewart following on Sunday evening.
