Emotional Reunion For The Holloways At Farewell Gig

hollowaysOutgoing London band The Holloways were reunited with their former guitarist Rob Skipper during their final show at their home city’s Relentless Garage venue last night (May 23rd).

The group made their decision public in April via a statement on their official website which read: “As many of you will know we have had a few problems through the years.”

“Fires burning all our stuff down. Labels going bust, friends leaving the band to name but a few. This has left us deciding to call it a day.”

Primary members Alfie Jackson and Bryn Fowler performed a 70-minute, career spanning set, during which time they were joined by bandmates both old and new, with Jackson telling NME the show was fitting way to bow out.

“It was emotional,” he said. “I loved it. I loved how much love there was from the crowd. There were people there tonight who represented a thousand people.”

The show was ended with a stage invasion from the crowd during the final track of the evening.
