Folk rockers Mumford & Sons had their World Cafe session replayed on WXPN last Friday, and are now set to hit the road in Europe following a hugely successful festival season.

The London-based band will also have their brand new session aired this afternoon (20/9) between 2pm-4pm EST, and fans can check out the schedules in different US timezones by following this link. The show features the group performing tracks from their Mercury-nominated debut album ‘Sigh No More‘, as well as a chat with the show’s host David Dye.

After playing over 20 festivals this summer, Marcus Mumford and co are now due to hit the road for a headline European tour which will begin at Paris’ Trabendo venue on October 24th, after which they will move on to Amsterdam two days later for a show at the HMH.

Fans could be treated to a clutch of new tracks during the tour, after frontman Marcus Mumford explained the warm response they had received from the crowds over the course of the summer. “I’ve been surprised by how nice people have been over the new songs in our set,” he told the NME at the recent Reading/Leeds Festivals. “We’ve been trying to play two or three at every festival. That has been really encouraging.”

On October 1st, the band will begin a sold-out UK tour at the Glasgow Academy.
