White Stripes singer Jack White is set to perform with his latest project The Dead Weather in the UK for the first time.
The performance will take place at a secret location on June 22nd with no audience and will be recorded for Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich’s ‘From The Basement’ sessions.
The show can be heard at 9pm in four independant record stores throughout the UK aswell as online at www.ftblive.com.
The Dead Weather are comprimised of The Kills‘ Alison Mosshart, Jack Lawrence of the Raconteurs and Queens Of The Stone Age keyboardist, Dean Fertita.
Godrich’s ‘From The Basement’ show has previously held host to the likes of Iggy pop, Sonic Youth and Jack’s White’s other band The White Stripes.
The Dead Weather are set to release their debut album in the UK on July 13th and the following day in North America.
