So News of the World got it all wrong we now know. They claimed you chose a fan site web-mistress as your new bass player. Pretty funny stuff huh?

Yeah, it’s funny. I think that’s what the press is though, you can’t take it seriously.

To actually go as far as printing that headline? That a blog writer would become your bass player.

She could be, if she was good and I met her. I’m not sexist mate, if she’s a good bass player and she’s cool, she could make it in our band but we’ve got one now and he’s a geezer so it don’t matter.

Italian fan site Wonderwall.it is reporting that Liam Gallagher, on his recent stop in Italy to promote his clothing line Pretty Green, informed fans that his new, yet to be named band, already has 7 demos recorded.

Liam chatted briefly with fans in front of the studios of  Radio DeeJay where he gave an interview last Friday and later on posed for photos and signed autographs in front of his hotel. He appeared relaxed and was very friendly with everyone, even willing to reveal a few new snippets of details about the new band’s members and plans.

Star of the night Liam Gallagher arrived fashionably late at last night’s launch of the Pretty Green fashion label, no one complained as the clothing line is the Ex Oasis front man’s own creation.

Paparazzi camera flashes galore greeted the many guests and friends invited to the ultra fancy Gore Hotel in Kensington. Among the stars in attendance where boxing champ Ricky Hatton, Gallagher brother Paul, who played resident DJ for the night, the Verve’s Richard Ashcroft accompanied by his beautiful French girlfriend and of course, Liam’s lovely wife Nicole Appleton.

Ex Oasis band members Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Zak Starkey showed their support and rockers from Kasabian and The Prodigy were also on hand to party hard. Obviously missing was Liam’s brother Noel Gallagher who has not been seen with any of the Oasis band members since the band split up back in August of 09.

Our site’s very own UK contributor and proud publisher of SCYHO, one of the biggest Oasis fan sites on the planet , was invited by Liam Gallagher to have a chat and a look at the Pretty Green clothing range at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium in Wales last Friday. Louise walked away charmed by a living rock n roll legend and impressed by a top quality collection of Pretty Green products.
