Actor Terry Crews is the star of Brittany Howard‘s video for Stay High.
“This video is shot in my home town of Athens, Alabama,” Howard says. “The actors are my family and friends. Terry Crews plays a man who isn’t out to change the world, he plays a man who just wants to come home to those who understand and love him best.”

Brittany Howard will release her debut solo album Jaime on September 20th via Columbia Records, named for her sister who died of cancer when they were teenagers. “The title is in memoriam, and she definitely did shape me as a human being,” she’s previously said.
“But, the record is not about her. It’s about me. I’m pretty candid about myself and who I am and what I believe. Which is why I needed to do it on my own.”
