Suede‘s next album will be released on September 21st.

The Blue Hour is set to be their eighth studio album and third since the 2010 reunion. “‘The Blue Hour’ is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in,” a statement reads.

“The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: ‘The Blue Hour’.”

Frontman Brett Anderson, meanwhile, has gone into further detail with NME.com, saying: “I think Suede should be unpleasant, that’s the point of a band like Suede.”

The Blue Hour tracklist:

Wastelands
Mistress
Beyond the Outskirts
Chalk Circles
Cold Hands
Life is Golden

Don’t Be Afraid If Nobody Loves You
