Spector have premiered an official video for Untitled In D, recorded during their appearance at the Concrete And Grass Festival in Shanghai earlier this year.
The track is leading a brand new EP entitled Ex-Directory which is due in January 2018 and will comprise three more songs. Speaking previously of it, frontman Fred MacPherson said the band deliberately took a stripped back approach whilst in the studio. “Untitled In D’s been burning a hole in Spector’s pocket for a little while now,” he explained.
“I wrote the bones of it pretty quickly then Jed came through and channelled the ghost of John Frusciante on guitar and we knew we were on to something. After the sheen of our first two albums it was exciting capturing something simple and irreverent – the sound of us playing in a room rather than playing in a computer.”
Spector also have a gig booked at the London Omeara for January 16th, 2018.
