The new Kills album ‘Ash & Ice‘ has been set for release through Domino on June 3rd.

It’s been five years since Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart‘s last LP ‘Blood Pressures‘, and the return has been immediately previewed with a video for ‘Doing It To Death‘.

“One of the first songs that Jamie brought for the record was called ‘Ash and Ice’, and we loved the title,” Mosshart says.

“He does that all the time – he just starts with the title and he hasn’t written a word for the actual song. I guess he was sitting at some bar or some party or someone’s house, and it was just like people ashing into a glass of ice, in that disgusting thing that you just see all the time.”

The Kills play London’s Village Underground on May 4th and will be at the Isle Of Wight Festival in June.

‘Ash & Ice’ tracklist:

‘Doing It To Death’

‘Days Of Why And How’
‘Let It Drop’
‘Hum For Your Buzz’
‘Siberian Nights’
