Having returned earlier this month with ‘Commontime‘, their first studio album since 2012, and not long before the start of a UK tour, Field Music dropped into Rough Trade East in London for a live performance. Live4ever’s Alberto Pezzali presents the highlights.

“As much fun as we might have had on our own or collaborating, we missed just spending time in the studio, the two of us, trying things out and playing together,” the band have said of their latest LP.
That UK tour opens with two nights at the Newcastle Cluny on the 25th and 26th of this month before moving on to the York Duchess and, next month, the Cardiff Globe. Gigs follow in Exeter, Nottingham, Leeds, London and Southampton, while the final night arrives at the Brighton Haunt on March 20th.
