Noel Gallagher, Brett Anderson and Bobby Gillespie will present shows on Absolute Radio next month as part of the station’s Real Music Matters campaign.
On Saturday nights at 10pm, the series will be started by Suede’s Brett Anderson on February 5th, with Jim Kerr of Simple Minds signed up for the 13th, 20th and 27th of February, as well as March 5th. Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie has a run on the 12th and 19th March.
“From the early days right up to the current,” Jim Kerr says. “Please listen in to my show on Absolute Radio as I play and talk passionately about the music and artists that have entertained and influenced me through the ages.”
And Noel Gallagher will resume his occasional radio partnership with producer Matt Morgan on Monday, February 15th from 9pm-11pm.
The pair first met when Morgan was manning the desk for Russell Brand’s BBC 6Music weekend show a decade ago.
