Live4ever’s Best Of…2015: The Rock Music Videos

Best Rock Music Videos and Indie Songs

Here we go again! Live4ever’s end-of-year look back is primed and ready to bring the best of another great twelve months of music together during the next few weeks, when some of our favourite albums, tracks and videos will be remembered and revisited as the festive season gets in full swing.

And so, the rock music video. While it’s a medium which might be disappearing from our small screens, replaced on MTV by reality series called My Spoilt Teen’s New Prom Nose, it has nevertheless migrated online where it can now command viewing figures which even Dire Straits and their cutting edge 1985 ‘Money For Nothing’ technology could only dream of.

Of far more interest to us though is its capacity to allow artists to go deep into the cave of their creative desires, perhaps on occasions displaying more scope, imagination and vision than the song it is helping to promote.

Here, Live4ever’s publisher and Emmy Award (Visual Effects) winning founder Paul Bachmann has been casting his expert eye over some of the best videos to have crossed our path during 2015, looking out especially for cinematography, visuals, production value, editing, concept and adaption.
