Former Zutons frontman Dave McCabe will aim to show off a wholly different side to his songwriting when he releases the album ‘Church Of Miami‘ on September 4th with The Ramifications.

“I wanted to do something that wasn’t a guitar record,” McCabe says. “There’s loads of music I’ve always been into, things like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Human League, more electronic stuff that was totally different to what we’d been doing in the Zutons. I wanted to do my own version of a Grand Theft Auto soundtrack.”

The Zutons released their debut album ‘Who Killed……The Zutons‘ in 2004, and immediately nestled themselves along side the Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and plenty more British bands leading a new charge of commercial success at the time.

They achieved further fame with second album ‘Tired Of Hanging Around‘ and its hit single ‘Valerie‘, which received a further boost thanks to the 2007 reworking by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse.

‘Church Of Miami’ tracklist:

‘Church Of Miami’
‘Fake Emotion’
‘Trust Me’
‘Let Me Go’
‘Too Damn Good’
‘Interwine’
