Slash has said he would be open to a reunion with Axl Rose and a return to Guns N Roses ‘if everybody wanted to do it and do it for the right reasons’.

Frontman Rose has been plodding on for many years now without the classic line-up which shot Guns N Roses to worldwide fame after the release of their debut album ‘Appetite For Destruction‘ in 1987, but Slash has recently told CBS This Morning (via Loudwire) ‘a lot of the tension has dissipated’, and that playing with the band again ‘could be fun’.

“It’s been one of those things that’s been talked about by everybody but us for over the last 18, 19 years,” he said. “A lot of the tension that you were talking about has dissipated. We don’t have all those issues anymore. It’s not a lot of controversy. It’s something that is more perpetuated by the media, more than anything.”

“I got to be careful what I say. I mean, if everybody wanted to do it and do it for the right reasons, I think the fans would love it. I think it might be fun at some point to try and do that. Never say never.”
