Paul McCartney will induct his fellow surviving Beatle Ringo Starr into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on April 18th at Cleveland’s Public Hall.

Late Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts are among those who will also be entering the Hall Of Fame as Starr gets ready to become the final member of the Fab Four to receive the honour.

McCartney and Starr were last together at the start of 2014 to help the Grammy Awards celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles‘ first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.

“The Beatles are one of music’s most iconic groups, who won their first two Grammys, including one for Best New Artist, in 1964 — the same year they took America by storm,” Neil Portnow, president and CEO of the Recording Academy, said.

“As the Grammy Awards are ‘Music’s Biggest Night,’ it’s only fitting that we recognize this milestone moment in music history and pay tribute to this larger-than-life group and their enduring music and legacy.”
