iC1s will release the 5-track EP ‘Armada‘ on April 27th as the follow-up to their debut mini album ‘In The Blink Of An Eye’.
“This is about how shooting your mouth off, generally leads to upsetting people and causing trouble, despite the fact it’s usually those moments where the truth is actually spoken, and as we know, people don’t like hearing the truth,” singer Daniel Coburn says.
“We had the key lyric for the song knocking around for a while – ‘If it’s loose lips that sinks ships then I’m taking down the whole Armada’ – and we all really liked the imagery that conjured up and we basically built the song around that and the driving riff that runs throughout the song.”
The EP was written in Los Angeles and recorded in London with producer Barny Barnicott. It comprises the title-track, ‘Inside Out‘, ‘Don’t Change‘, ‘Burn Away‘ and ‘Forever Fighting Tides‘.
