Danny & The Champions Of The World will head out on a tour of the UK in June shortly after releasing their new album ‘What Kind Of Love‘.
Led by Danny Wilson, the band have recorded ten tracks with producer Chris Clarke at London’s Reservoir Sound studios. The lead single and title-track precedes the album’s release on April 13th and can be heard below.
“Every song on the album is a love-song of some fashion,” Wilson explains. “These are love songs about friends, about ex-friends, about wives. All different kinds of love. Also, the title made me think of some mythical jazz or soul record – you could totally imagine an album on Blue Note called What Kind Of Love.”
