The Libertines will be at Dublin’s 3Arena this summer just before they’re due to headline T In The Park 2015.
A year on from their live return for British Summer Time, the band play the Irish venue on July 9th, tickets go on sale from 9am tomorrow (February 4th).
That comeback in London heralded a hugely positive twelve months for The Libertines, with more festivals shows, headline dates and plans for a new album following in its wake.
Yet Carl Barat has recently cautioned fans against becoming too complacent with the group’s fortunes, telling Loaded:
“You can’t make plans with The Libertines because they usually go wrong. I’m seeing Pete in Thailand again soon, but everything in the band has to be taken step-by-step. The new album has to be the right record, and we don’t want to rush it.”
If all does keep going to plan the new record will be their first since the self-titled second LP of 2004.
