Royal Blood won the British Group prize at yesterday’s (February 25th) Brit Awards in London, where Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith shared the night’s other main gongs.
Sheeran picked up British Album Of The Year thanks to ‘x‘ and also won British Male Solo Artist, while Smith landed British Breakthrough Act and was also awarded for selling a bunch of records around the world.
All this will of course be overshadowed by the one and only incident anyone will remember from a night of predictable tedium – Madonna being pulled off-stage by her dancers after becoming too attached to her costume.
