The new Villagers album ‘Darling Arithmetic‘ looks set to be a compelling affair, dealing with ‘desire, obsession, lust, loneliness and confusion, and deeper into philosophical and existential territory, across a cast of lovers, friends, family and even strangers’.

It was written, recorded and produced by Conan O’Brien just outside Dublin and will be released on April 13th. A European tour has now been unveiled in its support, and begins two days earlier in Rotterdam.

O’Brien’s in the UK by April 14th and will remain so until the start of May when he heads back to mainland Europe for more shows throughout that month. Irish gigs in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Belfast round things off.
