Nigel Godrich shares Radiohead studio picture

Long-term Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich has shared a studio picture showing Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood apparently hard at work on a new album.

The start of this year had Colin Greenwood delivering an uncertain verdict on the chances of Radiohead getting together to record a new album, when he remarked:

“I’m sorry to be vague but we’re all just taking it easy at the moment. Just enjoying being at home and hanging out really. But at the same time, the vibe is very much Oxford and all good! It’s like that.”

However, soon after brother Jonny told Nashville Cream that they were all in fact ready to ‘meet up at the end of the summer’ to ‘make a plan’. “But, you know, we’re a slow-moving animal, always have been,” he continued. “I guess we’ll decide then what we do next.”

And that was all eventually confirmed at the end of September when Yorke was online telling fans that he was going through, ’15 years of discarded words and pictures while overdubs happen in Radiohead’s studio’.
