Bob Dylan at number one on UK Record Store Chart

The comprehensive re-release of Bob Dylan and The Band‘s ‘The Basement Tapes‘ has topped this week’s UK Record Store Chart, which is compiled entirely from sales registered at Britain’s leading independent music outlets.

Neil Young‘s ‘Storytone‘ is another high new entry at #2, while The Flaming Lips‘ unique take on ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band‘ also debuts inside the Top 20 this week.

Further back, both Arctic Monkeys and U2 have re-entered the Top 20 thanks to ‘AM‘ and ‘Songs Of Innocence‘ respectively.
