It’s hard to mention a Morrissey tour without dwelling on the many cancellations which have interrupted his live duties for most of the past couple of years, but should all go as planned for the run of European dates which are due to begin in November, Anna Calvi will be on the road supporting the former Smiths singer for six gigs.
Just this week, Calvi landed her second Mercury Prize nomination in a row thanks to ‘One Breath‘, and she’s now been confirmed to be joining Morrissey on the road from November 23rd, when the tour begins at Columbiahalle in Berlin.
The trip briefly visits the UK for a show at the O2 Arena in London, and then moves on to Ireland and the Dublin O2 Arena.
