The support for The Libertines‘ three nights at London’s Alexandra Palace has been revealed.
On the Friday night, September 26th, Peace will be providing the main support with Cuckoolander also on the bill. The following night Swim Deep have been asked to fill the role, as have Brown Bear, while the final gig on September 28th will see performances from Circa Waves and The Au Reviors.
The Libertines announced their Ally Pally shows just as they were about to go on stage at the British Summer Time festival last weekend. The two original dates sold out virtually straight away, leading to the Friday night concert being added.
These form a part of what has become a busy summer for the reformed band, indeed their busiest for over a decade. A headline booking at Nos Alive is coming up tomorrow (July 12th), with an appearance at Benicassim also in the diary, as is a full blown tour of Europe due in September.
