Jake Bugg is tentatively looking ahead to his third album after releasing ‘Shangri La‘ in the November of 2013.

Bugg has previously said his next effort will be constructed entirely by himself, without the added input of co-writers, and he’s now told NME he wants his new ideas for songs to be more properly formed before they’re taken into the studio.

“I’ve been trying to keep what I’m doing under wraps at the minute,” he said. “A producer or someone could stick me on the mics and I’ll just make something up on the spot and not share the ideas that I’ve actually spent a bit of time on because I just want to have a bit more time with it.”

‘Shangri La’ producer Rick Rubin has however been in touch with some words of wisdom; “I show him ideas and keep him updated with what I’m doing, because he’s a great guy and his advice is always great to hear,” Bugg added.
