An obsessed fan of theirs takes centre stage on the video for Arctic Monkeys‘ ‘AM‘ track ‘Snap Out Of It‘ which can be viewed in full on Live4ever via the snapshot below.
‘Snap Out Of It’ joins the likes of ‘Do I Wanna Know?‘, ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When Your High?‘ and ‘Arabella‘ in being lifted from ‘AM’, which has proved to be a huge success for the Sheffield band since its release in September 2013.
“Turner’s initial modesty in his timid instruction to the nation to not ‘believe the hype’ now seems a lifetime away,” Live4ever’s review concluded. “This band will be revered long after they decide to call it a day, having lived up to the hype, and exceeded it, in astronomical proportions.”
Speaking to NME last week, frontman Alex Turner declared himself happy to continue riding that wave of success ‘AM’ has whipped up. “I’ve written a few things, but I’m not in a hurry,” he said. “We’re going to keep going until the summer and beyond that a little bit, maybe. I don’t know. I wouldn’t think it’ll be too soon that we do the next one.”
