Illness forces Morrissey to cancel another gig in Atlanta

Morrissey has been forced to cancel a planned gig in Atlanta due to a virus which has spread through his camp – the fourth time, as AccessAtlanta points out, since 2012 that the singer has pulled a show in the city.

The singer’s 2012/13 North American touring plans were constantly interrupted by illness and eventually cancelled entirely when he contracted double pneumonia. The current dates had been going swimmingly until now however, with tonight’s (June 4th) concert in Atlanta no longer taking place.

Should he recover in time, Morrissey will resume touring at the Revel Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 6th. The final date on June 21st in New York is set to include support from Cliff Richard.
