The Horrors will embark on a full tour of the UK later this year in support of their new album ‘Luminous‘.
The tour bus takes the band to Norwich, Bournemouth and Newcastle ahead of a Scottish date at the Glasgow ABC on September 26th, with further September shows then coming up in Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield.
Into October and there’s concerts at the Bristol O2 Academy on the 1st and the Worthing Pavillion on the 3rd before a stop at the London Troxy brings proceedings to a close.
The Horrors finally released ‘Luminous’ last week, and saw it land inside the Top 10 on the UK Album Chart. “Never ones for sparing, daring and lengthy introductions to albums, the opener ‘Chasing Shadows’ is an indication that the band have grown in confidence and character,” Live4ever’s review reads.
“It’s a smart introduction to an album of simplistic bass lines and metallic edges shining bright; giving space and serenity in a room of instruments with an atmosphere of drugging and dosing the senses.”
