‘Istanbul’ was one of the first new songs discussed by Morrissey in the build-up to his Harvest Records signing at the start of this year. “One of the tracks is called ‘Istanbul’,” he told fansite True To You. “It is second to Rome as my most favorite city in the world. When I’m in Istanbul I feel as if I could never die. My life is matched.”
‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business‘ is due for release on July 14th after the signing to Harvest Records, when Capitol Music Group Chairman and CEO Steve Barnett described the singer as, ‘Clearly one of music’s most important and influential artists’.
