The Rolling Stones began their 2014 touring with a show at the du Arena in Abu Dhabi on Friday night (February 21st).
The ’14 On Fire’ tour will take the Stones to Australia and Asia in March and April and continues the live return which started towards 2012 with the ’50 & Counting’ anniversary celebrations – a tour which became one of the highest grossing of 2013.
According to online reports, the Abu Dhabi setlist stuck close to that witnessed during the past year or so, while former guitarist Mick Taylor again joined the band for performances of ‘Midnight Rambler‘ and ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction‘.
Those Australian dates open up on March 19th at the Perth Arena.
