Peace frontman Harry Koisser will rap on new album

peacewideIt sounds like Peace are playing with fire a bit here – their frontman Harry Koisser has revealed their second studio album will include a track on which he raps.

As did every other British musician in existence today (or so it seems anyway), Koisser spoke to NME at the publication’s annual awards ceremony earlier this week, and cited newly-crowned Godlike Geniuses Blondie as an inspiration.

“Blondie are amazing,” he said. “They had the first rap video on MTV. I don’t want to give too much away, but I rap on a song on our new record and we listened to ‘Rapture’ before we approached the song from the demos. Our producer, Jim Abiss, told us to listen to it loads because that’s the direction it needed to be.”

Peace are working quickly to follow-up their debut album ‘In Love‘, which was released to a glowing response in the March of last year.
