Elbow have unveiled a video for the track ‘Fly Boy Blue / Lunette‘, giving fans a taste of their new album ‘The Take Off and Landing Of Everything‘ which is due in March. Click on the video’s snapshot below to watch in full.
The video follows Elbow through the recording of their sixth album and was directed by their long-term collaborators The Soup Collective. Frontman Guy Garvey has previously discussed the influence New York City had on the LP’s writing process after his six week stay there last year.
“Walking around New York I feel like my antennae are up,” he told Q. “My ears are open for snatches of beautiful conversation. In Manhattan, it just feels like all the time, any second, somebody’s going to utter that thing that changes the world.”
‘The Take Off and Landing Of Everything’ is to be supported with an ambitious UK arena tour starting on April 5th in Birmingham.
