Mogwai have made their eighth studio album ‘Rave Tapes‘ available to stream in full online ahead of its official release next week. The Guardian are hosting the stream at this link.
‘Rave Tapes’ flies in on the vapour trails of 2011’s ‘Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will‘ after sessions at the band’s Castle Of Doom studios in Glasgow with producer Paul Savage. It is to be released in the UK through their own Rock Action label, with Sub Pop handling things for North America.
Meanwhile, a North American tour begins in the spring with a show in Albuquerque immediately preceding four dates in Texas. The full itinerary is as follows:
