It will be Metronomy who join Pixies at the top of Field Day’s newly expanded bill in June next year.
The event is to become a two-day affair for the first time in 2014, and its line-up for Saturday, June 7th has started to take shape today. Mercury nominees Metronomy – who release their new album ‘Love Letters‘ on March 14th 2014 – headline while Daniel Avery, Jon Hopkins, Sky Ferreira, Temper Trap and Warpaint have also been added.
In announcing the festival’s expansion promoter Tom Baker has said: “I am thrilled that Field Day is now taking place over two days in London’s Victoria Park. It’s been a long time coming. I can’t wait to reveal who’s playing.”
