The 20th annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert has added Morrissey and Jake Bugg to its line-up ahead of the kick-off on December 11th.

The concert has been organised to help commemorate this year’s Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, which will honour the Netherlands-based group Organization For The Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in Oslo, Norway.

The two British acts join the previously announced Mary J. Blige, James Blunt, Swedish singer Zara Larsson and Norwegian hip-hop duo Envy at the event, while Syrian musician Omar Souleyman and Swedish rapper Timbuktu have also been added. The evening’s festivities will be hosted by US actress Claire Danes.

According to fansite True To You, Morrissey will perform three songs during his stint at the concert. Those of you in the US can follow events on the night via the AXS TV network from 8pm-9:30 pm EST.

Despite plans for a busy year, the brief appearance will prove to be a rare live outing for Morrissey after a series of cancellations during 2013.
