Glastonbury organiser, Worthy Farm owner and ‘Mr. June’ – all titles which can now be attributed Michael Eavis who has dropped his trousers in the name of charity.
With nothing more than a carefully positioned pair of his trademark denim shorts to protect his modesty, Eavis has taken part in the Legends Of Somerset calendar, in which 12 celebrities local to the county have posed nude in the hope of raising money and awareness for the Macmillan cancer charity.
Also appearing are Mick Jagger‘s brother Chris, Wells town crier Len Sweales and sculptor Jeff Body amongst others. The idea came together after Michele Stiling, wife of Wells Rugby Club player Wayne, lost her battle with cancer earlier this year.
“He was a great model and didn’t hesitate in getting his kit off,” photographer Jason Bryant calmly observes. “But then he has got a great set of legs for a man of his age.”
