Cast‘s first four studio albums, all released prior to the band’s return in 2010, are to be reissued on January 27th next year in CD and DVD forms.
The band initiated by John Power after the inactivity and eccentricities of Lee Mavers eventually brought about his departure from The La’s in 1991 particularly enjoyed success at the height of Britpop in 1995 with their debut album ‘All Change‘, and it’s that record which comes packed with the most bonus extras, such as b-sides, live recordings and various BBC session tracks.
The 1997 follow-up ‘Mother Nature Calls‘ is also included, as are ‘Magic Hour‘ (1999) and 2001’s ‘Beetroot‘. Original artwork in new packaging, fresh sleevenotes and interviews with Power also form a part of the re-release. The tracklists are as follows:
