The 1975‘s winter tour of the UK has grown again, and will now take in three shows at the Manchester and London Brixton academies.
The original run was set to include just one gig apiece at the venues, but after an additional date was added last month, a three-night stop for the band is now planned due to ‘high demand’.
With a UK number one album under their belts, The 1975 will begin the main bulk of the tour on February 7th at the Glasgow Academy, and visit Aberdeen, Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham, Cardiff and Bournemouth ahead of a final gig at the Norwich UEA on February 15th.
The 1975’s self-titled debut album went straight in at the top of the UK charts in September, beating Nine Inch Nails‘ comeback ‘Hesitation Marks‘ which had to settle for second place.
