Television will warm-up for their appearance at one of the final All Tomorrow’s Parties events of the year in November with three headline UK shows.
The 2013 incarnation of the veteran New Yorkers are ready to perform their stone cold classic 1977 debut album ‘Marquee Moon‘ in its entirety during this year’s ATP ‘End Of An Era Part 1’ leg, which is one of two specially curated closing weekenders, and takes place between November 22nd-24th.
The likes of Dinosaur Jr, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Les Savy Fav are also due performances that weekend. The booking continues a strong association between Television and the festival, after the band reunited for an ATP gig back in 2001.
Before then, the headline UK tour begins at the Sage in Gateshead on November 15th, and moves on to the Manchester Academy two days later. The band then travel south to London’s Roundhouse venue on Tuesday, November 19th for the final date of the short run.
