Jake Bugg has recorded a new video with director Shane Meadows, according to The Sun newspaper.
The tabloid claims the pair have worked on the promo in their hometown of Nottingham for Bugg’s as-yet-unconfirmed new single, which would lead his second album. The follow-up to 2012’s hugely successful self-titled debut is expected to arrive before this year is out, with Bugg recently telling Rolling Stone of his release plans:
“It seems like the right thing to do. Might as well keep up the momentum, you know? In this time that I’ve been touring and traveling the world I had a lot of new experiences and opportunity. Why not write about it?”
Meanwhile, a headline UK tour for Bugg will kick off at the BIC in Bournemouth on October 19th.
