Liam Fray, frontman of Manchester local heroes The Courteeners, has announced the details of a solo acoustic tour which will take place throughout September.
Fray promises acoustic versions of Courteeners tracks as part of the tour’s make-up, and will play a first show at the Liverpool Academy on September 19th.
He moves onto the Leeds Cockpit a day later, with a single Scottish gig then following in Glasgow on September 21st. After further trips to Oxford, Portsmouth, London and Sheffield, the final dates arrives on September 29th at the Manchester Ritz.
The Courteeners released their third studio album ‘Anna‘ back in February, which peaked at #2 on the UK charts. They recently headlined a two-day festival in Castlefield which was also treated to performances from the likes of Reverend & The Makers, Miles Kane and The Strypes.
