Queens Of The Stone Age have announced a tour of UK arenas for later this year, and will also play the O2 Arena in Dublin on November 17th.
The British dates open up on November 16th at the Glasgow Arena, and take in stops at the Belfast Odyssey, Manchester’s MEN Arena, Birmingham NIA and London’s Wembley Arena during the following days.
Queens Of The Stone Age will be bringing their latest album ‘…Like Clockwork‘ to the UK after narrowly missing out on the number one spot last week. The album features a number of guest stars, one of whom, Elton John, described it as ‘the best rock album of the last five or six years’.
“I’ve never really played on a record with a rock band like that and for me it was one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done,” he said. “I think its probably the best rock album by any band in about five or six years.”
