Tom Odell‘s latest single ‘Hold Me‘ has been premiered on YouTube and can be streamed below.
The track is set to open the songwriter’s forthcoming debut album ‘Long Way Down‘, which also includes the previous singles ‘Can’t Pretend‘ and ‘Sense‘, and is scheduled for release on March 31st.
“I hope the album feels human and real and that there are some flaws – because the flaws help make it what it is,” Odell has said of his first LP. “Really, I’d love to live in a time when music felt uncontrived and imperfect and gave people a real sense of elevation. When it’s sad I want it to be REALLY sad.”
“When it’s happy I want it to feel euphoric… I suppose I want the record to express the heightened feelings and emotions we all get in our lives.”
Tom Odell has quickly established a reputation as one of the UK’s brightest new talents, and was named as the Brits Critics’ Choice winner last month.
