She & Him have detailed their fourth studio album, which will be released in May.
‘Volume 3‘ follows the 2008 debut ‘Volume 1‘ and the 2010 record ‘Volume 2‘, as well as the festive themed ‘A Very She & Him Christmas‘, and will be released on May 13th.
As with those past releases, ‘Volume 3’ will have a classic feel thanks to covers of Ellie Greenwich‘s ‘Baby‘ and the Fifties staple ‘Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me‘. The album was recorded in New York, Los Angeles and Portland with producer M Ward.
Mike Watt, Tilly and the Wall, Rilo Kiley‘s Pierre de Reeder and Devotchka‘s Tom Hagerman are set to make guest appearances.
