Frank Turner‘s fifth solo record will be entitled ‘Tape Deck Heart‘ and is due for release in April, the songwriter has confirmed.

“So, friends, the time is finally upon us,” Turner says in a message to fans. “My new record is called ‘Tape Deck Heart’. There will be two versions – the normal record, and then a special edition with special packaging and an extra six songs. I’m pleased as punch with it. Some of you will know some of the songs from us playing them live, but there’s a whole bunch of new stuff on there as well. I hope you like it!”

‘Tape Deck Heart’ has been recorded with the Rage Against The Machine and Muse cohort Rich Costey, and will be released on April 22nd. The album follows 2011’s ‘England Keep My Bones‘, which proved to be the most commercially successful of Turner’s career so far.

‘Plain Sailing Weather’
‘Good & Gone’
