Fatboy Slim, The Hives, Biffy Clyro, and ALT-J, are among some of the latest bands that have been added to the line-up of the eighth edition of the Bilbao BBK Live festival ; scheduled to take place from the 11th to 13th July in Kobetamendi, a 10 min bus ride from Bilbao city, Spain.
Promising to perform material from their new album “Opposites“, due to be released next month, Glaswegians Biffy Clyro join Swedish garage rock band The Hives and festival crowd pleaser Fatboy Slim, amongst others. A total of nine new bands added to a line-up headlined by Depeche Mode, Kings of Leon and Green Day.
After this summer’s record-breaking attendance, with performances by Radiohead and The Cure and the oppening of the third stage, Bilbao BBK Live keeps growing and attracting the biggest names in music today. Previous editions of the event have included headliners such as Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Black Crowes, Jane’s Addiction, RHCP and Suede (video).
Bilbao BBK Live is a three-day event that takes place on top of a hill surrounded by mountains offering spectacular views over the city of Bilbao.
