US band Walk The Moon will tour the UK next month armed with their recent major label debut release.
Originally formed in 2008 by frontman Nicholas Petricca, Walk The Moon went through a series of line-up changes, self-released two albums and became regulars on the US festival circuit before the eponymous third album was issued through RCA earlier this year. Support slots with the likes of Young The Giant and the Kaiser Chiefs have also taken place throughout 2012.
And with the single ‘Anna Sun‘ receiving some significant radio support in Britain, the band will tour the UK early next year, beginning at the Manchester Academy on February 20th 2013. They will travel north a day later for a gig at Glasgow King Tuts before resuming their English dates at the Leeds Cockpit on February 24th. Concerts at the Bristol Thekla, Birmingham Temple and finally the London Scala will follow on February 25th, 26th and 27th respectively.
