Cat Power will promote her new album ‘Sun‘ with a European tour later this year.
The dates begin at the Amsterdam Paradiso on November 26th, and include a stop in London at the city’s Roundhouse venue on December 12th. The winter trek will then be rounded off two days later at Brussels’ AB Club.
‘Sun’, Cat Power’s ninth studio record, hit the shelves this week and was described in Live4ever’s review as “…a new beginning for Cat Power; a beguiling album which sees her explore virgin territory on a quest for the ‘personal fulfilment’ she craves.
Some will enjoy her discovery of synth-led electronics more than others, but the force, honesty and emotion she channels into these songs is never in doubt.”
