Bob Dylan has become the latest artist to make his new album available to preview online ahead of its official release date.

Tempest‘ is streaming in full through iTunes at this link, and will then be released next Monday (September 10th). Dylan’s 35th studio effort of a long career comprises 10 tracks in total – one of which, ‘Roll On John‘ – is a tribute to the late Beatles great John Lennon. The record’s title track has also made waves recently after being revealed to be a 14-minute composition inspired by the Titanic disaster.

Like The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones, ‘Tempest’ will mark Dylan’s 50th year as a recording artist after he released his self-titled debut album in 1962. His perennial Never Ending tour has already included festival appearances in both the UK and Europe, with more British dates expected to be confirmed in due course.

In addition, an extensive tour of North America began earlier this week at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts.
